Created Notebooks sometimes are not automatically open after being created #70
Description
There is an intermittent issue where after creating a Notebook, the new Notebook is not displayed on the center panel of the screen and instead it shows the contents of the current folder.

Reproduction Steps
- Create a new notebook, with any name and click OK
- Notebook is saved, and center panel displays entire folder contents instead of new Notebook
Expected Result
New notebook should always display in center panel after creation.
Actual Result
Sometimes, the folder contents are displayed instead.
