Yeah, tags aren't copied over to the forked repo, unfortunately. TBH, I had forgotten that GitHub didn't do that, because when I clone with the GitHub CLI it will sync tags with the upstream repo locally. I'd happily take some suggestions or a pull request with clearer instructions so that someone else doesn't get confused in the future. Forking isn't really necessary for completing the tutorial, so I think the simplest instructions would be to make it more clear that you don't need to fork. And maybe some additional instructions on how to sync tags if you do choose to fork. |

Hi @spenserblack, I've forked, but when I looked for the tag but it wasn't copied along with forking the repo. 😢
