Admin Column Display working, but the links seem to act counterintuitively

I have Guidelines, and Guideline Authors, and they connect just fine, and from the Guidelines Admin Page I can see the connected Guideline Authors without fail. The problem is the links that accompany the connected Guideline Authors. Instead of pointing to the Guideline Author they refer to (as they do from the meta box on a Guideline Edit page), they seem to point back to the Guideline Admin page.

I've checked the plugin code and can modify it to do what I'd like, but I'm wondering it this is the expected behaviour or a bug? For example, this is a sample link, attached to a connected Guideline Author listed on the Guideline Admin Page:

http://[url]/wp-admin/edit.php?connected_type=guidelines_to_guideline_author&connected_direction=from&connected_items=4206&post_type=guideline_author

And when clicked it just returns to the Guideline Admin page.

Clicking on such a link sends you to the list of items that have that item connected.

This works similarly to the links in the "Categories" and "Tags" columns.

It doesn't though, which is what I was trying to explain. From the Guideline Admin page (that lists Guidelines), if I click on a Connected Guideline Author, I return to the Guideline Admin page.

Please post an example URL you're referring to as "the Guideline Admin page".

For example:

You're looking at a list of guidelines.
You click on a connected author called X.

You should still see a list of guidelines, but only the guidelines which are connected to author X.

So, my question is:

a) are you redirected to some other URL?
b) do you also see guidelines which are connected to author Z, but not to author X?

I experience the same issue. The link is /wp-admin/edit.php?connected_type=deelgebied_naar_thema&connected_direction=from&connected_items=48&post_type=thema, the new url page loads but shows always the same posts.

So from /wp-admin/edit.php?post_type=thema it links to /wp-admin/edit.php?connected_type=deelgebied_naar_thema&connected_direction=from&connected_items=48&post_type=thema, but the loaded page contains the same posts.
