Make course names more visible for students

This is how I see the project for a course I am enrolled into:

There is still space on the project bar, so this is the maximum width and yet the only thing I see about the course is "A". While my name is longer than average in English, it is not particularly rare to have this length for students. What I would prefer to see is "Course Name - My Name", although instructors definitely prefer to see "Student Name - Course Name".

I don't know easy it is to implement technically, but perhaps for students truncation should be tied to their name, while for instructors we keen the default. So the instructor sees "Student Name - Co..." and students see "My N... - Course Name"

Staring at the screenshot more - there is plenty space on the project tab itself! Surely it is possible to use more of the space between ... and x?
