Show stash name in right upper pane next to "Stash", helpful for long stash names. Also sensible for other items!

I'm frequently having long stash names, the left pane with [5] Stash is small to completely show long stash names.

→ Show stash name in right upper pane (which is much longer) next to "Stash".
Optionally, this could be only done for names that are too long (and thus truncated).

Alternative: Create a functionality that zooms all left panes to maximum (hiding the right panes)

It would be good to have similar modifications for:

• Status (repo name and current branch)
• Worktree, Submodule
• Local Branches, Remotes, Tags
  (Not necesseary for Commits and Reflog because the information in stated in the pane.)

Good idea. When you say next to "Stash", do you mean in the frame of the view? I think I'd rather put it in the content area, above the display of the patch.

As it happens, I just did something very similar for annotated tags, see #4663. Doing the same thing for stashes should be pretty easy.

Inside the context area is OK! Maybe set this information line fixed on top?

I'd like to work on implementing this feature. This seems like a great UX improvement, especially for users with long stash names.

I think the frame should only be used for meta information, not for actual content, so it should rather go in the main view.

Maybe set this information line fixed on top?

We don't have an easy way to do this right now, but I also think it's not so much of a problem if it scrolls away.

I'd like to work on implementing this feature.

I already had a local branch implementing it, so I just cleaned it up and made a PR: #4673. Testing welcome!
