Hey,

no, not really, I think pixelfed has its own bespoke API more suited for their use case, and I don't really have an interest in it. Though if they have a masto api compat layer (they do, I think?) and you have some specific issue where Mastodon.py doesn't work well with it, please do open an issue.

Checked quickly and found that YES, Pixelfed and Mastodon APIs are the same for many operations.
Since I am looking for something to post articles (plus images and tags) I suppose Mastodon.py can do this job.
I will try and let you know.
