When starting darktable I get an sqlite3 error displayed.
This also happens when starting darktable with a fresh config directory.

DT was installed from the FreeBSD package repository.

The error is possibly already there for quite a while. I discovered the message when I started DT from command line and I could see the messages. Prior to that, I had a weird effect in the darkroom. An image seemed to be completely destroyed. Across the image there was shown the file name, aperture, etc. It looked like a long list of action had been added to the history.
I can not reproduce this behavior.

To get some more information what happens you should start darktable from the command line with debug option -d common. You can attach the output here as a textfile.

I don't see a crash, only the error message regarding column "sigmoid". I guess darktable is working normally, even with this error ? Do you notice anything unusual when you activate “sigmoid” in darkroom ?

I always build darktable locally on my system, always start it from the command line, and have been doing so for a long time. I can't remember ever seeing this message with 5.0.1. Version 5.2 has been published some days ago, could you update and see if the issue remains ?
