Samsung S24 camera support (JPEG XL)

That camera produces DNG's, those usually just work.
What exactly doesn't work?

I am using DT 5.0.1 on Pop OS 22.04
On import it says that the file is not supported. It is a .DNG
Lightable displays black thumbnail with question mark
It can't open in Darktable and it says "could not be loaded unsupported file format"

update:
I am using Flatpack and also I downloaded the available s23 from raw.pixls.us and it worked (but not the newer S24)
