color calibration : area color picker issue #18200

In a 4k TV I had access too I've been demonstrating dt capabilities and found one issue.

  • The TV is 4k
  • Darktable running on GNU/Linux / GNOME Shell / X11
  • I have set the scaling to 200% to get decent (readable) text

Up to this all fine, darktable is running fine...

Then I'm try using the color calibration picker to select an area to set my WB and here big issue. The area is not at the proper place with a big offset and cannot be controlled. If I select an area (I can) I don't see the area and it seems to be offscreen. I think this is all due to DPI scaling.

Note that the global color-picker is working ok and IIRC other color picker too. So the issue seems to be only on the color calibration picker, strange yes !

Back at home I tried on my TV which is also 4k, did the exact same procedure and all worked fine... So cannot work on the fix.

Please if you have a 4k TV can you try to reproduce and report here ? TIA.
