PyAnsys DPF Post - Functionality Query

Hi,

I was hoping to get some guidance on the functionality of PyAnsys.

I'm looking into whether or not PyAnsys DPF Post could be used to post process CFX res files . I have looked through the documentation but found it very difficult to apply the package outside of very simple operations or replicating the tutorials (which even that had varying levels of success). We were hoping to use PyAnsys to load simulations and create reports with plots of quantities such as force in the X direction on a cutplane (for example). I couldn't find any way to create this with the info the documentation and examples provided. Therefore, I was wondering if this kind of functionality existed or was possible to achieve?

Appreciate this is a fairly scant description of the situation so if it's unclear or more info would help, please let me know.
