Is your feature request related to a problem?

Yes. It is incredibly easy to carpet bomb on this map. Newly spawned players have to face an onslaught of explosions, despite being partially shielded by obsidian. Currently the obsidian barrier which I believe was intended to prevent players being affected by carpet bombers is almost completely ineffective.

Describe the solution you'd like

I propose extending/widening the obsidian platform on the ships to mitigate the impact of carpet bombers. This would allow players to safely leave spawn and retrieve any items they need. Once implemented with upcoming updates to prevent the breakage of chests I believe this will allow players to actually survive and come back from being beat senseless from the enemy teams easy takeover of the ship.

Describe alternatives you've considered

I dont think there is any possible alternatives to this. The base map (as much as I dont want to) needs to be updated to reflect how the game is played now - not how it was played several years ago.

Additional context

Carpet bombing is a destructive and overpowered use of tnt. The relative ease of establishing carpet bomb towers is disproportionately destructive to cannons and other forms of attack which is negative considering how easy it is to build carpet bomb towers.
