Checked with the latest development build (copy version output from About dialog)

• I made a backup of my libraries before testing the latest development version.
• I have tested the latest development version and the problem persists

Steps to reproduce the behaviour

1. Create any biblatex library
2. Add a manual entry (of type electronic, misc, book, etc.)
3. Enter a name surrounded with brackets

Hi! Can you please let me know what should be the expected behaviour with respect to this?

@sanjacob Did not report which preview style he uses. I assume, its a CSL style.

The expectec behavior is to show "Aaron Baron" in the preview.

With IEEE:

With JabRef customized preview style:

Thus, there is something wrong when passing down to the CSL processor.

Steps:

1. Investigate whether https://github.com/michel-kraemer/citeproc-java correctly deals with {}
2. Investigate the bridge from JabRef to that library.
