Markdown bold syntax does not work for Chinese characters

Checked with the latest development build (copy version output from About dialog)

• I made a backup of my libraries before testing the latest development version.
• I have tested the latest development version and the problem persists

Steps to reproduce the behaviour

I make notes in the comment field with markdown syntax. I found bold type syntax **...** is not working for Chinese characters but valid for English.
For example, if you input **abcd数字**, it will show abcd数字 in entry preview. But the proper appearance should like abcd数字.

I solved this problem by replacing <font face="sans-serif"> with <font face="Microsoft YaHei"> in preferences.

Thanks a lot for your information. I think this font is not necessary available on all systems, so I suggest adding a note in the FAQ
