JabRef version

5.10 (latest release)

Operating system

Windows

Details on version and operating system

No response

Checked with the latest development build (copy version output from About dialog)

  • I made a backup of my libraries before testing the latest development version.
  • I have tested the latest development version and the problem persists

Steps to reproduce the behaviour

  1. Close JabRef
  2. Via the browser extension, import a new entry into JabRef. What happens is that the JabRef window opens, with a new temporary library containing the entry you just imported.

Instead, it should show the "Import" dialog with the entry. That is, we want the same behavior as if you have JabRef opened and then import an entry via the browser extension.
