• I made a backup of my libraries before testing the latest development version.
• I have tested the latest development version and the problem persists

Steps to reproduce the behaviour

i have a preview issue in latest 5.9 version

bib file:

@Article{昂海松2018,
  author  = {昂海松 and 肖天航 and 郑祥明},
  journal = {无人系统技术},
  title   = {微型飞行器的低雷诺数、非定常气动设计与分析},

in jabref, i choose gb-t-7714-2015 style,

and i get this result

then i copy the csl code and import it into zotero

and i get this result

the jabref one has duplicate year number

I can reproduce with JabRef 5.9 and an older development version from two months ago. There seem to be two different versions of the entry preview, which is odd:

A)

and

B)

The first entry preview (A) has the year twice as well, but one of those is clearly the citekey, whereas the second entry preview (B) has the year twice at a seemingly odd location.

I only can speak English and German, so it is hard to look at syntax.

Sidenote: IEEE does not have the year doubled, so other citationstyles likely are not affected. It must be something more specific.

i also found the author name is't reformatted
(and three programs show three doi and url combination, it's diffrent approach between latex and other two, but jabref and zotero use same csl style, maybe this is a issue of zotero)

i've readed the spec, in this case, texlive and jabref's combination is currect, zotero is wrong.

For the author formatting for CSL I think you have to first normalize to BibTeX format. (Right click on author field or via Cleanup Field Formatters)

still different compare to zotero and texlive

i just notice an extra month appears beside duplicate year number in this case
year, month, address. it's related maybe.

JabRef uses CSL style for the entry preview. I guess that would be from here: https://github.com/buffalo-d/styles/blob/master/china-national-standard-gb-t-7714-2015-numeric.csl

Those macros get triggered by some later code. I think probably (maybe) this one:

So, both the "serial-information" and "publishing" macro get triggered and since both have the text macro "issue-date-year", the year will trigger twice.

At least that would be my naive interpretation of this code. Be aware, I am a novice at reading the citation style language (csl) and my interpretation may be wrong!

I would suggest to contact one of the people that introduced or maintains this citation style. I looked up chinese-gb7714-2015-numeric related pull requests and found four of them here: https://github.com/search?q=repo%3Acitation-style-language%2Fstyles+chinese-gb7714-2015-numeric.csl&type=pullrequests and one of these people (SLKun, zepinglee or bufallo-d) might know more or probably are better intepreting this piece of code.
