Yes, this is a perfect one to jump into.
The DNN platform has a built-in messaging between users. The forums module has an option to send messages between users. There used to be a 3rd party addon for the DNN ecosystem, called Ventrian, which could be used instead of DNN's built-in messaging. The Ventrian option is no longer supported, so we want to remove this option from the module, and just always use DNN's built-in messaging.
You will want to search for "Ventrian" in the project in Visual Studio and see what needs to be removed.
